Great Britain appears to break up and dissolve in the sky, in an unstable atmosphere. These images were photographed in 2017. See the gallery images for paintings and drawings of skies and clouds.
The Breakup of Great Britain, seen in a cloud.
Th first time I've noticed Great Britain in a cloud formation. And then it broke up! Taken in the summer of 2017.
Typhoon Khanun clouds over a darkening Kowloon.
Aerial views, Essex
These are landscapes, downward looking, usually from a plane, sometimes from a high viewpoint. The fields, roads and hedgerows in England seem to form a narrative, although not a clear one. This set of images were inspired by the view, on a very misty day, just North of Stansted airport.
Ben's famous people
My brother, Ben Harper, has created his takes on famous people. How many do you recognise?
Quartet for the End of Time (Performance)
Here are the eight paintings, reworked during the performance at St George's Deal. An amazing experience, working on the edge of the stage, just a few feet away from the quartet. I keep hearing fragments of Bernard Herrmann's scores for Vertigo and Psycho.
